A city gal am I, born and bred
but still quite touched by the story of Ed.
To run wild and free with the mare of his dreams
is now his future or so it seems.
Thanks to Elly (yes, the one with the big belly)
Ed is now on his way with a snort and a neigh!
With a purposeful gait and his head held high,
Ed offered a flower as a fitting goodbye!
What does my card have to do with the story? Absolutely nothing - although I did stamp flowers on the background!! I have no horse stamps or even western themed stamps, so decided to play with some new toys instead! My card is going off to Jessica who is recovering from a recent fall from her own horse.
My card is also for Featured Stamper FS227 Mary aka stampercamper. I used a similar image as her Sew Suite card and also followed Mary's tutorial for making her signature bows - aren't they pretty? Genius Mary, genius - and thanks for sharing the directions!!
And finally, I made my card for Colour Challenge CC327. So, when I looked at the challenge yesterday, I could have sworn one of the colours was black, but it's supposed to be chocolate. So if you squint real hard, my black looks like very very very dark chocolate.. Yep, that's my story and I'm sticking to it LOL.
Thanks for taking a peek!

So very pretty! Like Celisa said in a comment above mine. "What girl wouldn't love a great card like this one?" So stunning! Great job! (I like your cute verse to go with it too)

Whoo hoo! Hi there Laurie! You are here! So glad you made it to the teaparty with this wonderful card! I am so glad you brought this along for Jessica! And no matter that there is not nary a horse! As a matter of fact, since Smelly Elly got a pile of flowers, she has decided to clean up her act, take a bath, put on a dress, and put her flowers in a vase on the table! She's thinking, city gal, like YOU!
Now, who knows how to sew? Laurie brought a form fitting thingamajig standing up thingy that someone can hang Ellie's new dress on! Whose's makin' the dress, teapotters!
I love this beautiful card and so will Jessica! I just know it!
