This is the card that was made for two friends. This was the first bow I was able to tie in several years after surgery on my elbow which took away most of fine motor skills in that hand. I think I am the most happy with that part of the card! Just love butterflies & took the colors from them - even though her colors are totally different! Brittany was totally amazed by the card :-)
Instead of a double pocket, I took half of the sheet, scored it at 5.25", diagagonal folded the bottom right corner to the upper left corner of the score line & folded up the bottom section to make the pocket. The size of the double sided paper for the front of an A2 card is 4"x10.5" - making the folded part 4"x5.25" & is just the perfect size to fit on the front of a folded piece of 4.25"x5.5". Am going to be making my Christmas cards this year with this fold & will be putting a Christmas tree in the pocket. You will get 3 cards per 12x12 paper with extras for some of the embellishments on your cards. I will put together a little tutorial on making this single diagonal fold & post it on my blog.
Thanks for looking :-)

The bow is gorgeous - but the rest of the card is lovely too. You should feel proud of the whole card, but I can understand the feeling of achievement you must have from tying the bow.
