I'm late, but here's my card. Our destination this week is Everette, Washington. We're sending cards to Charlotte, a friend of fellow SCSer and Teapotter Judy (JayDeKay). You can learn more about this week's destination and challenge here.
I decided to go with the interior of a secret hideaway cottage for Will and Kate. Even though the outside might look good, you gotta check out the inside to know what you're really getting. This may be a cottage, but it's a royalty type cottage with their own Italian chef, dining room with rose tea service and chandelier. It also comes with Rufus, who'll be their new pet dog. It's even furnished with flowers on the table and a wedding picture of the royal couple. A perfect getaway that still has all the amenities needed for the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
All images are digital stamps from Happileigh Scrappin', except for the floor, rug, wainscoting and window, which I drew. I colored the images with Copics and used dimensionals to pop up the cut out chef and Rufus the dog.

This is absolutely wonderful. Makes me want to crawl right in this image and have a seat at the table. And the drawing that you did...amazing, just amazing.

You're right, it's a royal cottage indeed! Imagine with all the castles at their disposal they're besotted with the officers' housing they will be assigned. Talk about the other pasture being greener.

WOW Sue! Your card was definitely worth the wait! Will and Kate will love their new dining room, Italian chef and Rufus, the royal hound! Fantastic fusion of your artwork with Leigh's images... it's no wonder she asked you to join her design team.

Susan, this is just precious. I wondered what some of those cottages looked like inside. Happy to see they are going to have some help...

Hey Auntie Susan! You are here! I thought that was you at the Late Gate! I think you might be hanging out with some realtors......bringing the inside of the house is sheer genius! And how appropriate because your cards are genius too! Wowza, this is such a teapotter card! Look at that wonderful shelf with the teapots on display and the wedding picture is da bomb! But I must say, what makes this house a home is little Rufus! What an amazing scene you put together...all separate pieces making such a great room......Get that cook to work, I'm hungry! Snort!
Charlotte is gonna be thrilled with your card, speaking from experience! (I love the card you sent me!) Woot!
