Had a wee tiff with my daughter about her dog getting all up in my face every time I moved.
Hugo's a nice dog. It's just that I'm not a dog lover. I don't hate them, I'm just not crazy about them. Altho he is a nice dog, I prefer he be a nice dog on the other side of the room, lol.
She told me to quit being mean to him because I kept telling him to go away.
I told mean would be if I bounced a rock off his head. I wasn't being mean. I was just nicely telling him to go away from me.
Horses and cats are my thing. Horses, cats and dogs are her's.
My daughter has a very persnickity cat. Jupiter is the coolest. She likes certain people, and everyone else can go whistle.
Jupiter is most often seen bristling with "royal' attitude, and stalking away from someone she doesn't care for who just tried to touch her. She sticks her tail straight up with a little bend at the tip and moons the person every step of the way.
It's a hoot!
Jupiter also doesn't think very highly of Hugo. She doesn't mind him, but like "gramma", she much prefers he keep a polite distance. Hugo gets "mooned" a LOT!
So, I made this card and sent it to my daughter the day after we had our little "tiff" over her over friendly, big as a horse, dog.
The stamp is a perfect likeness of Jupiter marching off with towering disdain.
When my daughter got the card, she called right after opening it and reading the little love note I'd written inside. She was laughing so hard she could barely speak, at first. When she could speak words I could understand, she said, "Point taken!"
