This new Sassy Cheryl's digi, A Simple Gift of a Flower was sitting on my work table partially colored... lucky me it worked for the WT today! And I had the perfect sentiment too.. MFP's In My Mother's Garden.
Colored with Copics and white gel pen accents. The flower is Spellbinders Blossom 3, coffee filter and fine tulle. After cutting on my Grand Calibur, I DTP'd Tattered Rose Distress ink onto the filter flowers and spritzed with water to make the ink spread, crumpled and hit with my heat tool to dry.
The Labels 21 layer is "faux" cardstock.. meaning I used white and colored with a Copic to match the image. To get the mat, I traced around the same die used to cut the image and cut it out.

What a cute image and your coloring is amazing! Great tip to create a faux layer by using Copics!
