Kim's challenge for the WT today was to use people on our cards. I do have some people stamps - mostly Rubber Romance, but I am hoping this little doll will count. It took me long enough to find the black crepe paper for it when the TUTORIAL was first posted, and I have enough to make thousands of dolls .
A2 cream base.
Main layer is white card stamped with RubberNecker Bamboo Background in Forest Moss, embossed with clear EP and sponged with Old Paper. The edges were distressed and sponged with Vintage Photo.
Doll was made as per tutorial using some lovely papers from the Japanese Cultural Centre in Paris. The only change I made was I didn't use a bobby pin for the neck, I used two thin strips of the same Mi-Teintes paper that I punched the face from. No Asian embellishments in my supplies, so I used a stamp from a Kodomo set to make a faux metal coin, which I then rubbed with some Luster Rub-Ons, and laid over some metallic blue Mizuhiki cord.
Trying to decide should I add simple features - any thoughts?
