I used a Rectangle Nestability to cut out the window. I also used real thread on the balloon, and stitched it in two places to make it (the thread) curve the way I wanted.
I sponged the siding using a strip of paper for a mask. I got the siding idea from Michelle Zindorf's Behind the Garage card.

Sophie, what a gorgeous card this is..... I love the siding, the colouring, the fleur de lis wallpaper and your idea for using thread... how clever.... great job on this.
