Garden Party is this week's free image at Delightful Inspiration . It's a progressive challenge and each week you play along, you get another free image.
I decided this would be a great image to try a variety of techniques. I was having such a fun time that I wound up making 5 different cards with the same image. I needed to replenish my stash of cards I have on hand, anyway. LOL
For my second card using this darling little garden scene I used SU markers to color the digi and Copic BG11 to color the background. After coloring I mounted it on Not Quite Navy, then Mellow Moss and Old Olive, very lightly sponged the edges of the Mellow Moss with Distress Broken China ink and doodled the frame. This is mounted on DP sponged around the edges with Distrss Ink. Martha Stewart's punched blossoms are sponged with Distress Inks and touched up with Copics then popped up on the side. Added Stickles to the flowers centers and bee's wings, and Liquid Pearls to the noses on the mice.

Great colors on this one Sue... the background reminds me of a soft, supple leather! Hard to believe you doodled the frame... it's so incredibly precise! Love the punched border of flowers... the perfect finishing touch!
