Raise the Bar is challenging you to create a spring card using a "Hey Chick" theme this week. I'm enjoying my time as bartender and encourage you to join in the fun and see what you can create using a chick or bird image! I inked up some new Verve for this card and used Julee's great sketch for the Mojo Monday challenge, which is a contest for the first Monday of the month. I also made this for the March Diva Dare competition to make a card with the COLOR ME SPRING theme...for direct links, visit my blog:http://cullen-arycreations.blogspot....y-chickie.html. The basket was paper-pieced and the ribbon was popped with foam dots. The chick was colored with Copics (Y13, Y15, Y17, E95, E95). The sentiment was stamped on a new Verve die shape and I cut out a second die shape from Ripe Avocado CS and cut the ends off to layer just the ends. Sponging was done using Tim Holtz tea dye distess ink.
STAMPS: Chicks Rule (Verve)
PAPER: Mabel Love Letters paper from Stella & Rose by MME - script BG, Once Upon A Springtime Collection by Graphite 45, Vintage Cream, Ripe Avocado
INK: Chocolate Chip, Tea dye distress ink by Tim Holtz
