Here is a wedding card I made with CS and a layer of vellum over top. The glue has made the vellum go a litttle wonky but I think it is still pretty in its own way. The edges are definely different.

Love your wedding card. I like what happened with your vellum too....it gives a shabby chic look to your card. I also detect a subtle glimmer on the bg layer which adds to the elegance. Very pretty!
