Here's a CAS get well card I made for a friend's husband, who is a basketball coach. I didn't have any basketball stamps, so I decided to make my own after discovering I had a sheet of textured paper in my stash that looked exactly like the surface of a basketball -- how's that for lucky? I made a rust colored folded circle card, using a saucer as template (nothing but high tech tools at my house!) and then topped the card with the circle cut from the textured paper. The lines on the basketball were created with thin black decorator tape; placement was done freehand based on a photo of basketball stamp (low-tech solutions abound!). To compliment the shape of the card, I chose to do the sentiment panel using circle punches, popped up with dimensionals.
Thanks for looking!
