Since I took a rain day, ended up making two not so exciting cards. BUT I had fun anyway. I know this image isn't quite a silhouette kind of stamp, but I still used it. Stamped it with versafine onyx black clear ep'ing it. Colored in the truck with w/c pencils no water.
Made an oval mask, sponged colors around image. Reverse masked the image and stamped SU sanded over top with tea dye, clear ep. Added the black dots around the oval with enamel accents.
Layered with black cs then put on a kraft card. Added the left over kite with tail.
Well, that's it for today. The wind is a blowing and the rain a falling. Glad I took that "rain" day. Even if my cards don't show it, I had fun......TFL :0)

Tee hee, this is quite whimsical. Love the kite tail. Your background is really very pretty. You took a black image and made a colorful and interesting card. Looks great!
I love the image and when I spotted the kite I had to smile. This is a wonderful card and I totally remember the 'clunker' in the back of the barnyard with the weeds growing. Oh yeah, there were chickens roosting in it too! Thanks for the memories.

Love this image and the scene you have created, Cathy! I thought sure Curt or one of his cousins would be grazing near by! Great background and love the kite!
