I'm a little late today. Somebody here, won't name names, thinks I spend a little too much time making cards and not enough time cleaning. SO I had to do an extra special job cleaning today. Hope that someone doesn't think this is going to be a regular occasion. hehe....my card.....
Stef has once again chosen a way cool IC site. I clicked on the link and chose the first thing I saw, which was the bowl of veggies and noodles. I mainly chose this for the colors.
I did the retriform technique, printed out a copy of the panel to use as a mask, then masked various parts and stamped each section with a different image from Rubbernecker using barn door ink then clear eb it.
Used my Mutnik, Curt in a square image, colored with copics, cut out around Curt, then cut the square out with deckled scissors. Made a mask, stamped a Rubbernecker script bg over top, sponged inside edge with barn door and sunshine yellow, sponged outside edge with brushed corduroy. Popped up on top of retriform panel.
Put panel on a black AC card, done.....Well it's back to cleaning for me.....yeah right......TFL :0)

My, Curt is sure handsome here!! Love the colors, tho' I'm really trying to figure how you went from noodles to Curt.
Just tell that someone, that making cards is your stress reduction therapy and it's cheaper (?) than a therapist. Okay, maybe not cheaper, but it's better for you. You do get something out of it, your creative juices are flowing, and if and when you get grandchildren, they will have their own illustrator.
Also, just show that someone, all the positive feedback you get. That's good for the soul and the best therapy yet!!

It looks like "Valentine Curt". He is so handsome all framed up with those beautiful colors! Ummm, tell that someone that we need our daily Nutmeg fix. We need our giggles and smiles. A day without Nutmeg is like a day without sunshine! So there, naner, naner, boo boo!

Moo-velous. Darlin', the cleaning can wait... Can't it?? I sure hope so! You could write in the dust around here. I continue to blame it on the restoration crew that worked in our basement after the flood we had last year. But they finished just before Christmas so that excuse is wearing thin...as the dust gets thicker...
Here's a verse to keep you going...
The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
For cows they grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I'm stamping with Curtis and cows they don't keep."
Great work, as always.
