This was my first attempt at embossing on candles. I learned a few things. I stamped with copper ink on red tissue paper and embossed using copper embossing powder. I found out that it's better to hold embossed tissue paper to the candle with parchment paper instead of wax paper. The embossing will stick to the wax paper in spots once it gets hot. It doesn't stick to parchment paper. I forgot to take photos of the parchment paper ones before they went in the mail. This one has missing spots on the stars because of the wax paper.

I haven't tried the wax paper and heat gun trick for candles yet. I have always used decopage glue to adhere my images. I'll have to get some parchment paper too now.
