This was created using the sketch from Our Daily Bread Designs ODBDSLC45 for the Shining the Light Challenge. I love this scripture from ODBD's “For the Graduate”, and it is my prayer for this precious baby, our first grandchild, Jonathan. In this photo, Jon is not yet even one day old.
The scripture was done over DP using Creamy Caramel ink, and the scalloped edges are paper pierced using a tool from Pergamano. The matching card is a modified version of the sketch, and the little footprint is Jon's. The inside sentiment is also from ODBD's “For the Graduate” and reads “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths” Prov. 3:6 You can find this set here: Our Daily Bread Designs
This project was dear to my heart. As I held my grandson for the first time, I spoke the name of Jesus into his ear, and held his precious feet, asking the Father to bless every step he will take. Thanks for looking.

Oh what a precious little grandson, so sweet, cute and dearly loved and blessed! Your card is just too cool, And I can see why it would have been so hard to leave! None of my grandchildren are close to me,and that makes it very hard. Love your card, hugs Jan

Can you pass that Kleenex box back to me? Sniff, sniff - wow, your story of how you held Jon for the first time grabbed my heart. These are two special creations - and that scripture is so cool! I need to get some ODB stuff!
