My Mom hasn't been well lately, in fact, I almost lost her on Christmas. Today my DD and my DH went hunting, and my Mom decided to come over and make a card with me. She isn't really strong enough to spend much time playing with cards right now, but she said she wanted to try and do a challenge with me (she hasn't really ever done one). She use to paint, so I thought she would get really excited about Judi's gallery. I pulled up Judi's gallery and showed my Mom - she loved Judi's cards. She saw this lovely card in the gallery:
I don't really have much in the way of items you can paint with, but my Mom wanted to try this one. She used my Kittie Kit to make the bases of the trees and then she used a stipple brush and my chocolate chip ink to create her version of Judi's card.
I put it on a card base and added a few extra touches, and my Mom loved it.
Judi, you are so talented, and I want to think you for your inspiration!

Your Mum did a fantastic job on her card. She must have been a beautiful painter because the techniques are still there. Well done Mum..even though you aren't feeling just the best right now.

Well done mother and daughter teamwork! I absolutely agree with both of you, Judi's work is fantastic. She is more talented than she knows, and your mom, well wow Nancy, I love how she used her inspiration because when I saw the 2 trees I knew which one it was right away. Your embellishment are perfect my friend. TFS and for sharing your "card story". Hugs to mom, and keep safe the two of you and family. xo

Aww, Nancy, so glad your Mom decided to join you today to try a card for Judi - she surely did a good job on those trees with the Kittie kit, and should be very proud of herself, as I am sure you already told her you are. Gret Job, MOM!! We love that you helped us out with your inspiration today!!
