My Mom hasn't been well lately, in fact, I almost lost her on Christmas. Today my DD and my DH went hunting, and my Mom decided to come over and make a card with me. She isn't really strong enough to spend much time playing with cards right now, but she said she wanted to try and do a challenge with me (she hasn't really ever done one). She use to paint, so I thought she would get really excited about Judi's gallery. I pulled up Judi's gallery and showed my Mom - she loved Judi's cards. She saw this lovely card in the gallery:
I don't really have much in the way of items you can paint with, but my Mom wanted to try this one. She used my Kittie Kit to make the bases of the trees and then she used a stipple brush and my chocolate chip ink to create her version of Judi's card.
I put it on a card base and added a few extra touches, and my Mom loved it.
Judi, you are so talented, and I want to think you for your inspiration!

Nancy this card is awesome. I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. My Mom is not well either. She has broken/fractured 4 vertebrae in her back and is home bound now for three months. She is down to 86 pounds. I sent her a box of Chocolates for Christmas and she ate it in two weeks....so guess what, I am sending her a box weekly...lol Your Mom has an eye for the beauty of nature. I love how you added the sprigs and floral accent. Gorgeous card. I a just thrilled you got to spend some quality time with your Mom. Mine is in CT but I will be visiting again this year.
Bear Hugs,
Carol

W-O-W, this is a work of art for sure. I'm in love with the trees your mother painted Nancy. I really hope your Mom is doing better and that there will be many happy stamping days ahead for both of you. INCREDIBLE card by both of you! TFS!
