It is really hard moving, a little bit at a time, especially when you have moved all your stamping supplies, to one house, and you are at the other house when you need to make a card. My DH's aunt is 83 years old and still working, that is until she had a stroke, we just got the word last week. I just got back down to my toys, and he asked me to make her a card, he said she is kind of depressed, so I made this card for her. I didn't want to make the usual get well card, it's not like she has the flu, or measels, etc. I was trying to figure out just exactly what to make, when I picked up the Clear Dollar Stamp set Get Off Your Tuffet. I'm hoping this will cheer her up, then again, I may pick out something else to work on instead.
I stamped the main image on white paper, colored with prisma-colored pencils and goo gone, then cut it out with a Nesties Labels Four, ran a Quickie Glue Pen around the edge and dusted with Martha Stewart Golden Beryl Glitter. The blue panel behind the main image is cut out with a Nesties Labels Eleven and turned sideways, after attaching main image, ran the Quickie Glue Pen around the edge and dusted with Martha Stewart Blue Sapphire Glitter. The sentiment is stamped on white paper and punched out with a EK Success Journal Plate punch, sponged with Broken China Distress Ink, stamped the four spiders from the same stamp set, colored with black SU Marker and Sakura Clear Glitter Pen. The blue panel behind the sentiment is cut out with a Clear Dollar Stamp Designer Die. The dp is out of my scrap dp box, and the photo corners are from a SU Photo Corner Punch, and stamped with three spiders on each, colored with Black SU Marker and Sakura Clear Glitter Pen, although they don't show up very well in the picture. Thanks for looking and any comments.
