It was like a revisiting the past for someone who was a child in the 60's! I punched out various colored daisies, not exactly sure why I went with this color scheme! Glued them in rows across a square, trimmed and added pearls. Then framed it in burgundy, added a sentiment and burgundy ribbon, trying to keep it fairly CAS.

Oh my goodness ... I love how you recreated that daisy-chain design ... and I think the colors perfectly capture a color-scheme you would have seen in one of those blankets ... fantastic inspired design.

Cool idea! I'm impressed that you were inspired by that afghan to make this card. I haven't got the "inspired" thing down yet. Seeing what others do really helps though. TFS

This is FABULOUS, Bridget! I knew your inspiration the moment I saw your card! Love, love the daisies to interpret the crochet and the pearl centers are the "icing on the cake". A REAL winner!
