Congratulations Bev (Maxell) on being crowned Queen for the day. I loved looking through your wonderful gallery. Here is the CAS card I cased - Owl on a branch.
This is also for Ways to use it challenge = use browns, The free 4 all challenge - Thank you card/project and for this weeks IC challenge - from Plaid Pony Vintage - here is the owl piggy bank that was also my inspiration along with Bevs card.
I stamped the image twice with vintage sepia ink and clear embossed, water coloured one image, cut out the owl and popped it up over the bottom image. Coloured the branch on bottom image, sponged edges of both white panels with creamy caramel and close to cocoa. Stamped sentiment, coloured leaves, sewed panels and assembled card.
Thanks for looking - have a wonderful day...
We are getting our very first snowfall as I type this.

Pat, your colors and sponging are phenomenal on your card. It's warm yet fun with your image. Pretty neat stitcing too! Wish I had the desire to bring out my sewing machine as often as you do.

There's something very serene about this owl image and especially done as a monochromatic card in brown tones.
