Hey Girls, I've been on Route 66 for over a year and didn't realize that Route 88 was the way to Lynn, Mass. Thanks to Mothermark for heading me in the right direction, I'll try to stay on the straight and narrow from here on out. I've not posted anything in over a year and it feels good to be on the road again. I just couldn't resist the temptation of the invitation of Evelyn's 88th Birthday Bash, it's then that I said, LeAnn it's time to jump on the band wagon. I'm impressed that this girl of 88 years young knows how to drive in style with her green caddy. I want to go cruisin' with her, listenin' to the stats of the Red Sox on the radio, while taking in the beautiful scenery of an Iris lined highway. Wow what could be better than that? Although, I will have to put my foot down on pickin' up any hitchhikers, well unless.... he's a Sox player. TeaHee! I have no doubt that this will be a "BLOW OUT" of a birthday #no pun intended, heaven forbid# and my wish to Evelyn is to have a "SMASHING" good time.
I watercolored my image with reinkers using blending pens. You can't tell it in the picture but I also spritzed the image with gold smooch. Thank you so much for checking it out.

I knew this had to be for the tea-party with that gorgeous iris. Love your pin and pearls. Hope that you don't have a blow-out on the way and arrive safely.

Oh yah! The Kansas Quack! You are here! Yay! OMG, I am so tickled that after a whole year you are finally here! This is the most wonderful card for Evelyn....holy cow, it is so very gorgeous! Your coloring, shading, layering, embellishments everything rocks! Good that that ole hubby of yours got this card uploaded! I just knew it had to be a teaparty card!
Good job jumping on the band wagon.....did you see any teapotters along the way, some of them fell off when the cookies were distributed! We really didn't have visions of hitching a ride on a wagon.....we thought our *ride* would be a little more upscale than that!
I am so glad to see you....now what do you want us Teapotters to call you? LeAnn or the Kansas Quack? Quack, Quack! Snort!
Oh yeah, Newbies get cookies that have been reserved. Follow me! I know where they are!

Lovely, lovely coloring of this AWESOME old PSX stamp. I love that you cut them out! I used to cut out everything but have gotten lazy in my old age and just mostly use my nesties to cut out images into squares, circles or ovals now!! That is what I did for this challenge as I used the same PSX stamp for one of my cards. I made four this week! Boy does it look different in the different color!! Love your border!! Nicely done!! Please check out the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge by clicking on the link below my signature. We would be so very honored to have one of your lovely creations in our weekly challenge!
