Wonderful challenge! Brown is a good color for fall. I made this card a couple of days ago but hadn't done anything with it yet. Funny that the color fits today's challenge because brown is not a color I use very often.
All images, embossing powder and adhesives are Sparkle N Sprinkle. I stamped the tree with the foliage ink pad onto white c/s. I also stamped the acorn twice and one oak leaf on scrap pieces. I used markers and a gold gel pen to color in the swirlies and a rect nestie was used for the tree and I cut the other images out.
On the bottom of a slightly larger and longer rust layer and along the side of a large brown layer, I used the CB embossing border. I went over all the raised areas w/ a VM pen and sprinkled them w/ embossing powder. I also went over the edges of the rust layer and the sentiment oval w/ the VM pen and embossed those as well. The sentiment was stamped w/ the same foliage pad and die cut w/ a petite oval.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
