Lots of techniques in this little flower pocket - I made this for a class - for the holidays. Pointsettias are usually asymmetrical....this die is perfectly symmetrical....so the challenge was to make it a bit more realistic....so I used various sizes of the stamps and dies and then cut into leavea as well as cut out some leaves....added dimension with some rounding, folding and with a large ball stylus to add dimension to the leaves... and here's how it turned out.
It was a bit of a challenge but in the end turned out pretty good....
I stamped the Holly Outlines Ornament topper on the green DP and cut it apart for the leaves throughout
Stamped the pointesettias colored with Prismas and Gamsol and red ones were gold embossed and edged with Insta Gold paste....
Thanks for Stopping by! Happy Holidays!

It's not often I am really honestly taken by a card, but this flower pot card you've made is phenomenal. I've never tried this technique. Cook22 sent this style card which overwhelmed me with its beauty. I never ever read the directions on how to craft such a masterpiece because just looking at the card told me it was way beyond my skill level. Your's is as equally beauitful. Using this as a christmas card is just the greatest. Your flowers and details are absolutely magnificent. I see it's already been faved 5 times ~ it should be faved 150 times it's that gorgeous!
