I thought Cosmo Cricket Wanted papers would be perfect to combine with the Artistic Outpost Oz Collage ... and I love the results.
I love every Artistic Outpost set, but I must admit, this is one is becoming one of my favorites. I also love the play on words since each of the Movie Characters "wanted" something.
The woodgrain paper that the scarecrow is stamped on reminds me of straw or a rattan place mat. I colored very heavily with Prismacolor Pencils and then went back with a soft eraser and used it to blend and remove color for shading. I used a sketch from Eat, Sleep, Stamp for my design. I cut the sentiment in half to make it work for the sketch & finished with some just packaging twine. When I unravel the ends of the twine, it reminds me of the texture of straw, which seemed perfect for the Scarecrow.

What a fun card!! That image is awesome, and so is the sentiment. Such pretty colors--and the perfect touch is the twine!!

This is a fabulous card, Stef. It's a shame it didn't get more 'air' time cause you have chosen the perfect paper for those wonderful AO images. Love all the different wanted papers and the twine....yep, it's fabUlous!
