Stef, this inspiration is really neat! The intricate details on Miyuki Sakai art work is so very inspiring. So inspiring, that I actually took a needle and thread to my card this morning! I don't know how to use a sewing machine (nor do I own one) which I find to be a bummer. However, hand me needle and thread, and I'll make it work! I had a blast creating this card. My girls were sitting right with me! My daughter watched me stitch up the oval and said , "Mom? I think this card is going to be really cool!" I love her!
Thanks Stef, for the awesome site! I got this set right before it retired and have been itching to use it for a while now. So psyched Miyuki's site gave me the inspiration to use it!

I think your card is terrific, just like your daughter says! Love the way you did your own dp, too. And thank you for the comment on my Peaceful Olive Branch today. I am so happy Stef picked up on this website for the IC. I suggested it to SCS back in the summer and am so glad it made it in!! Thanks for playing along.

Wow, Jenna, a hand stitched card, that has to be the ultimate in created with love and care - this is very special - the lace and the brad and the distressing all add up to elegant vintage! I didn't know SU had such fabulous lace - oh dear, now I think I "need" some!

Aw, how sweet of your daughter .
It is cool, too - a tandem is extra fun, and I can see that you could use it for something like an anniversary card to great effect.
