Ok, ok....this is the last time that I try the embedded image technique with this image!!! You won't have to see it again.........LOL! However, I think I finally accomplished what I set out to do on Monday when Holly issued the challenge.
The photography is not great, but if you look CLOSELY at the lower right hand corner of my image, you can see a glimmer of a swirl around the tree..........IRL, as you move the image, the shimmer of swirl goes around the tree. Very cool! The other two tries I stamped the swirls first. This time, I stamped the tree frist and then 2 coats of clear ep, then stamped the swirls with Versamark and added Holograph ep. Then finally gave me the effect that I was after. Whew!!!! LOL!
What do you think?

I can see the swirls - I bet it's cool in real life. It can be so hard to get a good photo of anything with shimmer or sparkle. It's a lovely card.
I finally got to try the technique last night, but with only UTEE it also turned into cracked glass - so I haven't made a card with it yet.
Congratulations Lesley on conquering the "embedded image" technique! With reds and greens are beautiful with that tree image! Love your card! ( and of course that Nestie, too!)

Your embedded tree looks so soft and purty Leslie. I think you have this down! I tried it, didn't work for me. Oh well. Your card is very pretty. Fab-O job. TFS :0)
