Living in Phoenix, this is what our Christmas trees look like! Just kidding, but people do put lights on the cactus just like this.
This stamp is from Rubbernecker. I inked the image with markers and stamped onto kraft, then gold embossed the star and colored with Copic markers before cutting/embossing with the deckled edge oval and mounting onto the Beaded Oval cut/embossed from Always Artichoke ink and airbrushing through the stencil of the die. I added stickles to the lights on the cactus and to the star before popping it up onto the Old Olive card front. The sentiment is stamped with versamark and embossed with gold ep.
Thanks for looking!

This is great! I'm in AZ, too. People really do put Christmas lights on their cactus, although we've never tried it. Like how you used oval layers for the focal point. Like the blue mountains in the background, nice contrast. Stickles on the "lights" is perfect. Nicely done. TFS
