This is my ATC for the Stampin' D' Amour swap for November. I used green cardstock sponged with a darker green. I used a Versamark stamp pad for the spider web, with a mixture of white and kaliedescope embossing powders. then I used a gold pen to make the border. I sprayed it with alcohol mixed with Shimmer Paint, and let it dry. I stamped the spider on green cardstock with Versamark and used white embossing powder. Then I cut him out and glued him on the card. The body is a pearl stick-on from Martha Stewart and the head is Liquid pearls. I made a little book type thingy and glued it on the back so that when you slide the ribbon off, it opens and you can see the story of the Christmas Spider inside.

OMGosh! Such an unexpected and beautiful take on a Christmas theme. This is a lovely card, and the story is inspiring. I secretly love spiders (this creeps so many people out!), but here in MO they eat bugs, so what's not to like? And everything in this card works beautifully together. Kathy
