Well, another week has gone by and it's FRIDAY! Know what that means? Another wonderful Queen has been chosen for the QFTD challenge. Please check it out....
Today Melody Gal, aka: Lori is our new Queen. Can I have a Whoo Hoo?!!! What a wonderful gallery she has. I chose this card to case......details....
I flipped the layout because I added more trees. Plus I left off the sentiment.
On the bg panel, I tried the distressed glue bg. Lori's was so lovely I just needed to give it a try. Maybe I should have practiced first. hehe Oh well.
Drew my trees, colored with prisma pencils and gamsol. Did stamp some bg dots using a SU stamp that I don't know what set it came out of. Sorry.
Added some tissue paper clouds that I sponged on some color and a raffia bow tied the kittie747 way. Didn't have a fancy swirly thing. Note to self: get some fancy swirly things. hehe
Well Lori, sit back and enjoy your reign. Hope the crown isn't too heavy! ......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! I won! Hi NC Sis! When do I get my prize? hehe

You drew the trees??? FABULOUS! What a great scene you have created. Your bg is very cool, and the raffia bow is perfection. How much does Curt charge for screensavers?

First--congratulations for having a winning picture. I absolutely loved your cupcakes. ;-) And thank you for helping to make my day special with an awesome Mutnik creation. Your trees are fantastic. (How I wish I could draw!!) What a great idea to make clouds out of tissue paper. Wonderful job with the distressed glue background. It goes really well with your scene. Terrific card.

You are a true artist in every sense of the word! Your hand-drawn trees are very realistic, and I love the little scene you've created here! Awesome card for Queen Lori!

Distressed glue bg? Sounds cool; I need to find out how to do that. Your birch trees and tissue paper clouds are spectacular, Mutt Nut. Terrific scene.

Is that all you can think about ...when do I get my prize?
Silly girl, you're always the last to know. Hasnt anyone told you yet....you dont the goods; I do! I take photos but that's about it. Y'all think I send the prizes, but I really dont. Dont hold your breath waiting for any prize! Oh, there you go again with those new techniques. What's Lori's technique all about? It's looks fabulous on the bg. So there really are trees in the clouds? I knew that. Oh I love this grand and glorious card of yours. It's da bomb!

Wow, I love your card. Your trees are perfect. If I tried to draw trees - I'm sure they wouldn't be recognized for what they actually were suppose to be! I love all the colors and the clouds are very cool!
