Congratulations, Holly (Kopy Kat) on being chosen Queen. Your gallery is wonderful and I had a hard time making up my mind, but finally decided on this
I chose the darling envelope rather than the tag for its simplicity. The first layer is SU True Thyme and I did a Faux Silk layer using tissue paper, added the photo and stamped Embossing Arts leaves on the tissue. Then I added some antique lace and jewels to finish off the card.
Now the photo challenge really messed this one up for me, but here is what I have. This is a picture of my first wedding - which - unfortumately did not last as you can we we were very young and he just could not let go of his mama. I WAS patient, but, alas, it just finally ended.
Well YES! I cheated. It was ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. Thanks for looking.

This is so adorable, I love the pic! That is so great that you used the envi for inspiration and the colors and design are so beautiful. Now I am going to have to go look up faux silk and try this too. Thank you so much, I feel so honored.

LOL! You were such an adorable bride... too bad Mama's boy couldn't let go of her hand. Your card is absolutely gorgeous! Love the leaves stamped on the faux silk and your vintage lace.

Dont you just hate when that happens? OMGoodness, your card is so special with the tissue technique and that most precious photo. You certainly were dressed as if you're going to the altar of childhood. Oh Carol, I'm so glad you were one of those brave stampers to actually use a photograph. I hope you havent already dismantled this. It's a great way to pass on your history. I'm lovin' this one, girl.

How fun, Carol! You were a beautiful bride! : ) Love your card...and story too. Didn't we all love dressing up as a "bride"?...you had a proper dress, I was usually in old lace curtains! Thanks for the memories!
