Hi. This card was made for the StampinÂ’ BÂ’s Challenge and fits todayÂ’s Free 4 All Challenge: Hole in One.
Mother is still ill, but having my son home is making her very happy. She asked that he spend the day with her at the hospital. Thank goodness. I think we were boring him! LOL
The hole in one is pretty simple. I stamped the tree trunks onto Snow Storm Smooth and colored in with a gray Copic. Next, I used a Spellbinders Oval to cut an area for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment onto Snow Storm and cut it out with a Spellbinders scalloped Oval. Next, I put thick Pop Dots on the back of the focal panel and the sentiment and placed them on the small Speedy the Cat Black Linen panel. I added dots. The butterfly was colored with Copics.
Finished size: 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Total time to complete: Under 30 minutes

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the details on the tree particularly with the highlights of gray copics to make it dimensional. Beautiful colors - the red butterfly totally pops on that background.
