For a very simple reason - which I'll get to - I love Teapot Tuesdays - reason: it gets me off of center and a little bit to the left or depending on how you look at it - a little bit to the right. I race through my stamps looking for the perfect one or ones to bring out of retirement or haven't seen ink since I brought them home.
Paula Best has some wonderful cat stamps and this is what came out of retirement today: Mr. Tux, Miss Star, Leo, and the Olson triplets - Jerry, James, and Joey. When they heard that there would be new kitties on the block, they decided to to plan a block party and welcome them to the neighborhood. Now Mr. Tux and Miss Star are very social creatures and love anything new and interesting. Leo is a curmudgeon - he really doesn't mean to be grouch, or cranky, or a sourpuss - he just likes what he likes and that is mainly to be left alone. The Olson triplets are into fun - anytime or anywhere and can hardly wait to meet the new kitties on the block.
Nibbles and Fritz are most cordially welcome to use the front door for the tea party, I fear if they use the back door they might run into Leo and well you know, cats can spat and we wouldn't want that now would we?
Once Nibbles and Fritz get all their toys and beds in the proper places, they will feel right at home - after all California is the place of sun, fun and movie stars - who knows they might make a movie about their adventures - now wouldn't that be a hoot?
I used a wonderful window card that I have been saving for something?, some retired SU designer paper, and ran the front through the Big Shot with the Polka Dot embossing folder, popped the saying up and added a couple of copper brads.
I'm sending this little card off tomorrow and hope Bertie gets a chuckle.

I don't think it could get any better than a welcome to the neighborhood block party! This looks like a pretty fun group....and indication of what lies ahead in the neighborhood! I think Leo will be fine...once he finds out that the two newbies to the neighborhood are just like Mr. Tux.....one can never have too many tuxes!
This is a very cool card...I love that you are using your old stamps and I love that you love Teapot Tuesdays......and that we are knocking you off your center! Snort! Sounds a little rowdy doesn't it? WEll, it is!!! Giggle!
Awesome card, Bertie will love it! How fun that she's gettin' it! Yay!

Yeah, Tuesdays are for me too, drag me out of my comfortable box and make me move that creative brain cell, you know, the one in the back ... ha ha .
Your card is adorable - and I think you must have been saving that window card just for this day!
