I thought that having a magazine with letters to cut out would be a cinch, but this was a little more work than I expected. We were to make a Ransom Note card for the Ways to Use it challenge. This is as close as I could get.
I found a piece of denim cut to size and glued on the letters. Finding them was the hardest part. That's lucky for me or they probably would have all matched and ruined the whole purpose. LOL
When the design started heading toward a 70s look, I went in that direction, added flowers, a butterfly and some brads and buttons. Unique to say the least.
The flowers are from a stamped image of Rubber Stampede Azalea Blossum that I traced around and cut out - using license. I'm not sure I could send it to anyone, but it's right up there for a silly card. Thanks for looking.

I think this is really cool and you should send it to someone. How neat to find some denim fabric and I love those flowers. I know what you mean about finding the letters!

I think you should send this to your silliest friend, one who would appreciate all your work! Carol, I LOVE this card, especially those bright and cheerful flowers, and I know the time it took to find all the letters! Great job!!!

Love your denim base, Carol! I think it would be VERY hard to find the right letters in magazines, newspapers, etc! (I did the puter thing!) Love your flowers and the flower button centers.

I LOVE THIS... I am a 70s kind of gal and I agree with all the letters.. I only had 3 and it took me forever.. Then the glue showed through.. Your denim is perfect. Great job.
