Is it just me or has this year gone by lighting fast! I can't believe fall/winter holidays are so close. This week I found myself making the few Halloween cards I make every year for younger friends in New York. Halloween is a holiday that just is so much fun that I have to send out a few cards in a care package. The care package usually is a box with the card, and a few special holiday treats like Ghost's Guts (mini marshmellows), Toasted Cat's Eyes (Almonds), Vulture Toenails (candy corn) and Witches' Warts (Chocolate Chips). I'll do a video this weekend on my blog showing you how to prepare the goodies so they can travel safely in the box with your card.
With this card I had a lot of fun creating shadows using varied layers of Dimensionals and Window Sheet cut outs. The new 2 1/4 circle punch, and the new BAT punch (too cool), helped out a lot with this one! What I love the most is all the shadows it casts....so an orange candle seemed so appropriate (smiles).
P.S. My moon cut out looks orange in this picture, but it is actually More Mustard with a little sponging to texturize the moon a little bit.
Enjoy!
