This card is for this week's Teapot Tuesday, MMTPT110, more information can be found at this link... MMTPT110 - LOOK AT US FLY! WE'RE SO HIGH! TIME TO TRY A FLUTTER-BY! by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
This week were to bring butterflies and flowers, well, I might have to come in the back door, I only brought one butterfly...smile...
It seems I always start out with an idea...like I wanted to make a pretty BLUE butterfly and ended up with a yellow one instead...not quite sure how that happened...smile....must have been that we finally started to have some cooler weather in our area and it make me think of fall.
My butterfly was stamped with Versamark, than heat embossed with Ranger black embossing powder, than colored with Marvy markers, I then cut out my butterfly and mounted it with pop dots, to a frame I hand cute out using a stencil EH181l,
and then with an exacto knife cut out the corners to for desinger paper, I then used the stencil to draw the black frame lines with my marvy marker. I cut the corners with an SU ticket punch.

It's not blue but it's still pretty. I love what you did with the cutouts and the DP behind it. I know what you mean mine is not going particularly well, nothing is happening as planned.

You must have a steady hand.. I could never cut or draw lines like that.. Your butterfly looks just like all the ones we have here in NC.. Great card with so much detail.

I like the backgrounds peeking out from the frame ... what a pretty card! Those hand drawn lines really add to the card and also what looks like hand embossed lines. THe butterfly is a perfect fall butterfly!
