I made this back in May, but when I took a photo I realised I needed to sponge the dark foreground higher up to ground the candle better. And then I never took another photo, so it goes to make the last of my August quota.
I got this Penny Black stamp in a swap with someone - and after using it, I can see why she swapped up. I'll have to come up with a better idea than this, as it's definitely NOT my favourite Christmas card.
A2 base, patterned paper from marilynprestonn (thanks, Peggy). Image was coloured with markers, misted and stamped on watercolour paper.
I added Glossy Accents to the candle, which I think doesn't show in the photo, and sponged in the foreground. Corners rounded and layered up on a brown mat.

I really like this card! It looks Vintage like to me! The "traditional" paper in the background, and this image looks as if it was hand sketched...I think, I'd take that as a compliment! It is lovely!

I actually really like this stamp/image. It's so different than the traditional stamped Christmas cards. It's softer, subtle, and kinda antique-looking. Very, very pretty card. TFS!
