This is for two challenges. Try a new technique we were to use ribbon without using it as a bow or knot. I took 3 circles of blanket binding and held the edges over a candle until they melted and curled then put a rhinestone in the centre.
Technique Tuesday has a challenge to make a background paper. For this challenge I did a watercolour wash using the colours in the ribbon. I then stamped and embossed in white. The leaves are a Mcgill punch.
