We have a challenge issued each month for our downline meeting. This month we used a sketch from the SU Connections magazine. It was not an easy sketch due to multiple panels and images required. I ended up with two versions, this one being the second and CAS version. I didn't take first place, but did nudge in as second with this feminine offering.
The base is Crumb Cake, while the Blushing Bride main panel is embossed with vintage wall paper ef. I stamped the floral image from Elements of Style, colored with SU markers in Blushing Bride and Blush Blossom. I painted the blossoms with Champagne Shimmer paint. Then I cut the butterflies out with the Beautiful Wings. The Thank You banner is created by using the bone folder under the paper. It breaks down the fibers so that the paper can be curled.
The base actually has some damask images stamped tone on tone with sponging. It is hard to see on camera but adds to the shabby feel of the card.
Thanks for viewing and commenting.
