This week's Queen for the Day is Irene (DandI93). Irene leaves sweet comments in the galleries of others and makes delicious cards. Out of her vast gallery, I chose this card to case:
I told myself that this would be the card for a Punchkateer to case since she made her flowers with punched circles - looked easy enough. After 10 minutes of trying to make one of the "simple" looking flowers, I had to go on Google and watch a tutorial on doing the fold. After that, I tried another 20 minutes to make one. I finally realized that I need hands on training for this fold or bigger circles than 1 inch. These flowers are my version of that cute little fold - not quite as cute as Irene's but I wasn't going to give up!
I added a bird, used the CC282 challenge colors, and added a different sentiment - not to mention a different fold.
Congrats Irene - you deserve this honor!

Love your adapted version of the dahlia fold - that fold can be a real bear-cat! The smaller your circle the harder it is! Love your card - I actually have that card from Irene's gallery in my faves but haven't been brave enough to try it. Great job - way to work out those punches (I should get my bird punch on Tuesday so I'm lookin' forward to it)! RYPH
