This is my card to honor our reigning Queen Francie G. Actually just as I was getting ready to make a card to honor Francie. Michelle aka Stephm popped in to show me the new stamp set she bought so we chose this card together to case....... Kittie's Get-A-Way! (FG) by Francie G. at Splitcoaststampers
You can`t case one of Francie`s cards and not use a die so I pulled out the same die kept her layout and changed the texure to squares. Anne Ryan would be impressed by the 6x6 size of this card ,I have trouble making big cards. Michelle colored the image and sprayed some vanilla smooch on it. I have a tub of birch bark so we punched the bird from the 2 step punch and sponged the edge with soft suede, I pierced the corner and made a mess, so I covered it up with some espresso grosgrain. tie some `more grosgrain around the frame. I don`t rremember who makes the sentiment ( I threw the wrapper away eons ago). The main image is from Stampendous and is called Forest Cottage Scene.
I hope you enjoy your week Francie! Your gallery is outstanding!!

You're smokin' over there in Canada! What a beautiful image and one that's equally as beautifully colored. I've not seen this image before, but it's knock out. I love the 6x6 card. See you can do it, girl! Your card is a perfect scene card. Love the bird too. Exquisite, my friend.

This is such a great case! I love the scene, and you made it even better with the bird punch (my fav punch - but I am guessing the new owl punch will be my fav when i get it), the ribbon, the corner covers, and all the other cool stuff you added.

What a great CASE of Francie's card - the dream cottage looks so inviting with the soft coloring, and the punched bird is FANTASTIC and perfectly perched to oversee the landscape! Love the color you chose for the embossed nestie window, and the corners covered in ribbon - whodda thunk it would look so good!! Super job!!
