Wonderful challenges! I'm combining yesterday's Ways to Use It w/ today's Free for All since they go together so well.
For the challenges, I used my new, never been used, Tim Holtz woodgrain embossing folder on the kraft c/s. I first inked the folder w/ brown/tan ink then ran the kraft c/s thru it. I also distressed all the edges on it and the tan frame.
The sunflowers were stamped w/ the choc ink onto w/c paper, colored w/ markers and cut out. I arranged them behind the cut out oval then attached a piece of drywall mesh that I had rubbed sand ink over. I threaded tiny strips of tan c/s thru the mesh to resemble a fence.
The sentiment tag was stamped first w/ the sunflowers and the golden wheat ink then over stamped w/ the quote in choc ink. I tied a little raffia thru the hole and also around the two cut out sunflowers in the bottom right. The edges of the 5.5 x 4.25 (A2) ivory card were sponged w/ the sand ink.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Pretty card!!! I like the way you stamped the plain sunflowers on your frame. What a great sentiment also - if only I could remember that and believe it at the time I was worrying. :>)
Julie, this is just so gorgeous!! Beautiful coloring and wonderful texture. I love that you used a negative space (what's left after you cut your oval out) as your frame I can't bear to throw them out as they are much too pretty and I've also used them on my own cards. Thanks for sharing. Your cards are always an inspiration.

Your cards are always so intricate. Your thought process always amazes me. You always think of the neatest ways to put a card together and then add amazing embellishments. this is fabulous, Julie.
