For this week's Stampin B challenge#69, Vicki Dutcher gave a birthday card challenge. I had this tiny stamp I wanted to use from A Muse. Just love it. It is called grasshopper but they are closely related to the cricket and that is what I think of when I see it. In some countries, crickets are said to bring good fortune. Guess that is why I have a cricket paper weight on my computer desk. In one country, a constantly chirping cricket is thought to foretell pregnancy and if it stops, you can expect money. I'm sure that is not my case. LOL
We would love for you to join the StampinB this week with a birthday card.
Also, would love for you to visit my very new blog for cards and more: http://benzistampz.blogspot.com/ Today I have a couple pictures on the oil spill tragedy.

Really like the overall simplicity of your card. What a cute addition of your grasshopper/cricket. Perfect at the top of the stem of leaves. Goes so well with your good fortune sentiment.

I can see you've left no grass to grown underfoot with all these smashing cards you're bringing to the gallery! I love this card. I'm not terribly excited though about the cricket thing. They can keep on keeping on driving me crazy at night ~ I dont need any pregnancies over here. Your card is as sweet as can be w/your cricket image and paper. Love how the bow gracefully pulls in another color that showcases this darling card perfectly.

So crisp and neat - love the gingham and that gingham bow in the corner. Great sentiment too. Thanks for posting those beach pictures - maybe you can be the news reporter for the Punchkateers as well as the Prez! I love blogs that have extra things like that - personal or informative - you are doing an awesome job with it!

Benz, I have to say, this is as pretty as can be. I love everything about it from the images to the dp and the gingham ribbon. I love the sentiment at the top too. Hey, wait a minute, don't you already have billions of dollars? Is that how you made the $$. When crickets stopped chirping. Glad I don't have to worry about the pregnancy thing - Whew, those days are over. Very, very beautiful card!! TFS!
