Encaustic painting done with crayons and an old iron. I just got a new cuttlebug embossing plus frame the other day. Love it! I looked for something to put inside the frame and came across this piece I had done some time ago. Distressed the frame with Mr Holtz' pumice and punched some hydrangea flowers with Martha Stewart's punch. The tiny leaves are the smallest flowers cut in four from some crimped paper that was laying around.
Thanks for looking.

Holy Smokes, girl, what a work of art this is! your crayon/encaustic painting is more than fabulous. Your card is, hands down, a fabulous creation. Hey, have you come upon Snail's cards. She's from Ontario too. I know I've pmd her about niagara on the lake, one of my old favorite places. She said she's about 3.5 hours away from there. Are you maybe somewhere close to her. You and she should hook up: you're both artists in the truest sense of the word.
