Hi! I made this card for this weeks inspiration challenge. I really like this sight and could have made a lot of cards based on the inspiration I got here, but I chose this statuette of an elephant for the inspiration of this card. http://www.novica.com/itemdetail/index.cfm?pid=135631
I kept my card somewhat simple since the inspiration piece is relatively simple, with lots of white space. The color in the inspiration piece is concentrated on the elephant's saddle, so I concentrated on the middle of the card. I used my aquapainter and reinkers to color the flowers. I used several shades of blue to get the lapis lazuli color and mixed 2 greens to get the gradations of green. I used a MS punch to imitate Indian architecture and the new SU! dsp to reiterate the dots on the elephant's trunk.
This was a fun and relatively simple card to make! TFL, and have a great day!!

Very pretty! It reminds me of the embroidery my Mom and Grandma used to do. The colors you used and that bit of dp showing, all work so well with the flowers!
