This is made for two of the DTGD challenges as well as Julia's WT challenge from last week to use chalk - and I'm trying to get in a few cards for the CCC10 challenge during this week too .
5 1/2" black Bazzill Bling base.
Main layer is 5" square, stamped with Medallion in Versamark and chalked with grey and blue chalks. I added silver leafing pen round the edges and added a See-D's sentiment in black ink. Because I was originally going to layer the Snowflake 1 dies that I'd cut from silver glitter card, I sponged this one with alcohol inks in blue, green and purple. In the end it's the only one I used - I added a gem brad in the centre and popped it up with foam. Forums at Splitcoaststampers Forums at Splitcoaststampers

I thought I was a bit off a few days ago when I crafted a Christmas card in black, but seeing your's made me realize who says christmas cards cant be on black paper? This is wonderful, Sabrina.

Beautiful chalk work on the medallion, I like the way it fades at the edges. Using the dark card base was pure genius, really makes the snowflake corner 'pop'.
Into my favs for sure.

The medallion and the snowflake seem to just fade into each other and blend so nicely together. You would think that so much bling would be gaudy, but this is beautiful! TFS!
