This week's QFTD is none other than Hobbydujour/aka Sallie! Congrats to you Sallie for inspiring so many with your gorgeous creations! I spent a couple hours browsing your fabulous gallery, looking for something within my means to CASE! I love all the Fifth Avenue Floral cards you made, so I began with the embossed vellum rose. That failure ended up in the scrap can, so I looked for something a little more like my level of creativity! I found this card .....CAS68 A Summer Note by hobbydujour at Splitcoaststampers
and I knew I was finally on the right path! I still used the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set, but I changed the colors, added one less layer on the squares and added 2 more layers on the card base. I colored the flowers with Tombows and added some copper colored microbeads to the centers.
Thanks for stopping by and again, huge congratulations to you Sallie!

Carol, first I have to tell your joke yesterday was hilarious. It's been a long time since I've laughed like that. I certainly know what you mean when you had to look long and hard for a card you could case. This Sallie girl has an exceptional gallery that's for sure. Your cased card is marvelous! I love that image and your off stamping is glorious. Not only that, but I love the cream and brown colors together; they are so complimentary. Let me just assure you, my friend, your stamping is every bit as fabulous as our QFTD's stamping. You just have different visions that's all. I love this one.
