Happy Monday everyone... over at Totally Stampalicious today's challenge is to use a splash of red - I think I went a little overboard with the red. The image I used is called "Gus and Stella" - I love this humorous image and the sentiments.
This is also in honour of Dorothy (aka etsdas) for being crowned Queen for the Day #16. I am a little late with casing one of her cards - I really loved this fun anniversary card... I kept the humorous theme, similiar colours and layout...
This qualifies for today's technique challenge - embossing on embossing. I stamped the sentiment on the red panel and clear embossed it. Stamped the mesh background with versamark in and clear embossed it, next I dry embossed the strip with the Swiss Dot folder. Punched out the red and chocolate chip scalloped borders.
This works for the challenge over at Our Creative Corners - to get corky. My main base panel is a cork.. I drew in the vines and heart flowers with my Tombow Markers.... Image was water coloured with Tombow Markers... My Blog

Thank you for choosing a card of mine to case. I just checked out your blog - way to go with the biking! I have a grandson who is getting into competitive mt. biking at the collegiate level (in CO, so he has plenty of mts. to choose from!). This is such a cute image - I need to check it out. Great job with the added flowers and vines and stiching - just a cute card.
