got me thinking about using only part of the large Morning Soft image, and this is what I came up with.
All images are stamped on watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black and embossed with clear EP. I started with a watercolor wash around the flowers using Certainly Celery reinker with my waterbrush and then watercolored the rest of the image with Almost Amethyst, Old Olive and Garden Green reinkers. I added some touches of purple using the Orchid Opulence marker, and the flower center is the Barely Banana marker. On the other sides I lightly sponged Barely Banana and Bashful Blue for a hint of sunshine and sky.
I sprayed the finished image layer with alcohol-based shimmer spray, which did not make the ink run. It may be my imagination, but it also seemed to blend and smooth my not-so-great watercolor job.
The Certainly Celery layer is the Leafy Branch embossing folder brayered with Certainly Celery ink.
