Showing the inside of the card I made for a good friend's Dad for his birthday on sunday. I'm covering up some of the detail on the LHS of the middle with the envelope front--you can't see I've used a similar piece as is found on the front of the card, the lower piece that has been texturized with the branches cuttlebug EF then I added some brown ink with a sponge dauber to emphasize that texture more. The inside RHS emphasizes more of this man's handyman lifestyle with the brick and the screws brads. I know that the front of the envelope is a bit loud, but I wanted to make it a bit celebratory and fun. The balloons that look pink are actually red, I was trying to keep it all as masculine as I could.
Thanks for checking this out, it means a lot to me!
