I made this card for StampGroover's 11-year-old nephew who is ill. You can read about him here at a post by Peggy (MarilynPrestonn): Forums at Splitcoaststampers.
I used the SC284 sketch and papers from The Green Stack. I don't have any stamps suitable for young males, so I decided to use DP and my computer. I used 3 different papers out of the stack. The branch with the bird is cut out of one piece, the large panel is another piece, and the stripe is the third piece. I also used SU Riding Hood Red and Not Quite Navy. I cut the top edge with decorative scissors (Seagull) and added blue Droplets to it. The little bird in the circle was punched out of the main panel sheet and mounted on Not Quite Navy. The red and white ovals were made with nestabilities and the blue oval was made with a punch.

Awww, Lorie, how suitable for a young man in need of a cheer! I just love the little critter offering a flower. I thank you Lorie for thinking of Mark. Cookie and his family are sure to appreciate your kindness. I do. TFS

Great card! I have this stack and have been wanting to make a card with it, but could never quite picture one--yours is going into my faves to case! I'm sure Mark will love it as well.
